| Description | Actually, skt requests two APIs like below. SKT NUGU has to know following. 1. for audio output devices (speaker or hdmi). ( API for checking current output device ) 2. for main volume level. ( API for checking current volume level ) Please implement them in Audio hal. Thanks. | ||||

Hi Wooshin, 1.There are already APIs for it: In vendor/synaptics/vsxxx/audio/audio_device_util.cpp int getSpeakerAudioMute(bool *mute); *mute==true means speaker is muted. *mute==false means speaker is unmuted. int getHDMIAudioMute(bool *mute) *mute==true means HDMI is muted. *mute==false means HDMI is unmuted. 2.Currently in SWAN, Audio HAL doesn't control volume level and know the status of volume level. Volume level is controlled by MiddleWare in android framework. I think you need to ask SPtek to provide API to get this information. And also noted that, there are different streams and each stream has it's own volume level (For example, NUGU has it's own volume level, MUSIC stream has it's own volume level). The "main volume level" definition is not clear. |
